MEET THE POSH PAWS TEAM

Christi

Hi, I’m Christi, the Founder, Lead Dog Trainer and Back-up Pet Sitter and Dog Walker for Posh Paws Pet Care.

I am an animal lover first, and a dog trainer second. I have always had a furry (and sometimes, not-so-furry) friend in my life. I have shared my heart with cats, dogs, horses, hamsters, turtles, frogs, chickens, ducks and even a pig over the years.

Now, I get to enjoy my life long passion for pets by caring for our client’s fur babies as if they were my own.

In 2010, I received my Certification in Dog Training from Animal Behavior College. Since that time, I have been doing private, in-home coaching sessions on obedience skills and behavior modification. I take every opportunity to expand my knowledge and continue my education. My goal is to build a bond between people and dogs that will last a lifetime

When I am not taking care of Posh Paws business or Dog Training, you can find me working as our Back-up Pet Sitter or Dog Walker. I can’t let the Team have all of the fun!

My hobbies include exploring new places with my Vizsla, playing Golf and Carolina Panthers Football.

Tammi

Posh Paws Staff

Hi! I’m Tammi. I absolutely love pets/animals. I have had all kinds of pets all of my life; dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, turtles. I currently have a cat which I have had for 14 years now. She is my baby, and I treat all pets like they were my own. I used to breed Himalayan and Persian cats. I love to smile and laugh and pets are perfect for making that happen. My hobbies are watching sports, bowling, canoeing, camping, painting, and volunteering at the Summerville Elks Lodge. It’s nice to meet new people, but meeting new pets is even better.

Deirdre

Posh Paws Staff

Hello! I’m Deirdre. I am so pleased to be a part of the Posh Paws Pet Care team! I love animals and do everything that I can to be around them. Our family has two large rescue dogs Bela & Boris, and a cat named Shawshank who are all best friends. We grew up with a house full of animals from dogs and cats to hedgehogs and tropical birds. Since I was a child, I’ve enjoyed being with animals. I’ve been a makeup artist for 20 years, love exploring and hiking, and gardening. I have volunteered as a cat companion, dog walker, and animal foster over the last five years. I always treat every animal like they’re my own and cannot wait to meet your little ones!

Kimberly

Hi, my name is Kimberly. I grew up in Summerville, on a local farm, so my first pet was a cow. I have loved animals ever since! Currently, I have 2 dogs, Hazel and LouEllen, and a bearded dragon named Dusty Rhodes. In my free time, I love crafting, reading, going for walks and hanging with my family. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies!

Traci

Posh Paws Staff

Greetings, I am Traci and I am the newest member of the Posh Paws Pet Care team. I am beyond excited to begin this new chapter of my life! I was a Dialysis nurse for 26 years and decided it was time to pursue my true calling of working with animals. I began by volunteering at the South Carolina Aquarium, Charlestown Landing, Aquarium Encounters and Dolphin Research Center. My dream is to work with dolphins, which I had the opportunity to do when I completed 3 internships at Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key, FL in 2020 & 2021. After returning home, I began to seek animal care positions and boy am I glad I did! I have learned so much from my volunteer work, internships and recent jobs. I know I will continue to learn and grow in my new position with Posh Paws. Growing up we always had cats and dogs in our home. As an adult, I have had many types of pets: cats, dogs, fish, a hamster, a rabbit, sugar gliders and a quaker parrot. I currently have two dogs, Prince & Jenna. Three cats; Nemo, Harley Quinn & Reign. All my fur babies are rescues from some place or another. I can’t wait to meet and get to know your babies. Rest assured, I will treat them as my own. I will give them lots of love and spoil them rotten!

Susan

Posh Paws Pet Care staff

My name is Susan and I am so excited to be working with animals. I am a retired Special Education teacher and my dream retirement job has always been to take care of fur babies! I have always had animals in my life. I have had dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, hedgehogs and horses. While teaching, I volunteered at animal shelters and helped out with numerous adoption events. I currently have 3 dogs at home and would have more if my hubby would allow! I am looking forward to spending my days taking care of client’s pets and making sure they are all happy.
